Membership Overview
Corporate Membership
Membership in SGMA is open to any person, firm or corporation which is a manufacturer, retailer or marketer of products used in sports, including, but not limited to, sports, fitness, athletic and recreation equipment, athletic apparel, and athletic footwear; a prime manufacturer of components for sports products; and/or a distributor of sports products marketed under the distributor’s brand name or by a brand name licensee.

Division/Subsidiary
If a member company has divisions/subsidiaries with different brand names, those divisions/subsidiaries are given full membership privileges and rights, provided the parent company is a regular member of SGMA. An individual application must be completed for each division/subsidiary joining SGMA.

Associate Membership
Any person, firm or corporation that desires a formal relationship with the association but is not eligible to join another membership classification shall be eligible for Associate Membership in SGMA.

Associate Members - Dues Structure

Non-Profit Organization Membership
Any organization which is related to or has an interest in the sporting goods industry and which is a not-for-profit, tax exempt organization shall be eligible for Exempt Organization Membership in SGMA. Note: Although online applications are accepted, a copy of not-for-profit tax documents must be submitted by fax or mail in order to have the application considered.
