SGMA, NCAA, & NFHS Logos 

The 6th Annual High School & University Equipment Rules Conference hosted by the SGMA, NCAA & NFHS Rules Meeting will be held April 25, 2012 in Indianapolis.

SGMA members and invited industry companies, who have an interest in the team sports business, are eligible to attend the conference to discuss actual and possible rule changes affecting NFHS and NCAA team sports play.

CLICK HERE to view the current 2012 Agenda- The main topics for discussion will include an update on all planned rule changes affecting equipment, updated concussion research and the status of the Childrens' Sports Safety Act, currently in Congress. 

Tom Cove, SGMA President and CEO  will present updated research on the economic  state of the team industry, Mike Oliver, Executive Director of NOCSAE will provide an overview of NOCSAE's activities and Dr. Dawn Comstock will provide updated data from the high school injury surveillance study.

More than 60 industry executives, representing 33 companies attended last years meeting. “We make this trip to Indianapolis so that we can stay up-to-date on the rules and regulations that govern high school and college sports,” said Ian Montgomery, Director of Research & Development/Engineering at Easton-Bell Sports.  “By having a presence in the room, it gives our company a chance to provide input and ask questions, if necessary.”
