On Tuesday, April 6, 2010 join members from the Fitness, Team Sports, Recreation, Apparel and Equipment Industries for SGMA’s 3rd Annual Litigation & Risk Management Summit (LRMS) in Las Vegas, NV at the Venetian Las Vegas Resort & Casino, hosted by SGMA’s Legal Task Force and sponsored by JP Research, Exponent, Tandy Engineering, Biodynamic Research Corporation (BRC) and Innov-X Systems to learn the latest legal issues facing our industry today.
Our 2010 LRMS is aimed to provide you and your colleagues, who are involved in the product development or legal aspects of your company, with a dynamic opportunity to represent and protect your company’s best interests by meeting with industry legal experts and in-house counsel face to face to discuss the latest items of importance and pressing legal issues facing the current sporting goods and fitness industry.
This year's Summit will kick off with our keynote speaker Anne Northup, the New Commissioner of the CPSC, as she leads a discussion on the NEW CPSC and the enforcement of the CPSIA. Like our previous LRMS events, our 2010 Summit will again be preceding the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) 2010 Product Liability Seminar, which will be held at the same venue as the SGMA LRMS. The DRI Seminar is an excellent continuing legal education program. The DRI seminar will feature critical and emerging Product Liability issues that are facing today’s U.S. companies & businesses.
