SGMA recognizes the economic threat poses by Intellectual Property (IP) violations and is dedicated to working with Congress and the U.S. government to promote policies with our trading partners that protect the copyrights, trademarks and patents of American businesses. SGMA is pleased with the newly passed intellectual property laws:The Stop Counterfeiting in Manufactured Goods law and The Trademark Dilution Revision law. Through SGMA's IP section we are committed to providing our member companies with information on opportunities to report infringement of their intellectual property rights both at home and abroad. We also intend to keep our members informed on new legislative and government policy initiatives designed to ensure protection of their intellectual property. |
