SGMA’s Single Sport participation studies are annual reports with the latest information on today’s sports and fitness participants.  The data is generated from over 40,000 nationwide, online surveys and reflects the total US population aged 6 and above. 

This report contains:

•    “Fast Facts” section with up-to-date, pertinent statistics  
          -Example: 53% of all Badminton participants                                                                are # years old and up. (2008)          

In addition, this report provides an outlook for the industry during a time of a constantly changing market and economy.  

This report will reveal:
•    Demographic data of today’s athletes
•    The average age of Badminton participants
•    The number of cross participants in other activities
•    Participation trends from 2000-2008
          -Example: The 2006 participation trend rate increased in 2007 at 2.2% to # %. (2008)
