This report can be released through The Outdoor Industry Foundation (OIF). Outdoor Industry Foundation (OIF) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 foundation established by Outdoor Industry Association to inspire and grow future generations of outdoor enthusiasts. OIF’s charter is to increase participation in outdoor recreation and to encourage and support healthier, more active lifestyles through education, partnerships, programs and advocacy.    

• Did you know that the average child spends 35 hours a week in front of the television and less than 25% of school-aged children participate in daily physical activity? 

The Outdoor Industry Foundation has a vision to be a driving force behind a massive increase in active outdoor recreation in America.  This foundation works with the National Park and Recreation Association to offer season-long, close-to-home programs that help spur a life-long passion for the outdoors in communities throughout the country.
